Rare! Handwritten Signatue of the Leading Rabbis of Jerusalem, Rabbi Nachum Szadeker and Rabbi Meir Auerbach Author of the Imrei Binah with Reference to Rabbi Eliyahu of Greiditz - Jerusalem, 1862 - A document confirming the receipt of a large sum for Kollel Warsaw by the Mekubal Rabbi Eliyahu Greiditz from Rabbi Yaakov Varlero - with the handwritten signatures of the Gaon Rabbi Nachum Szadeker and the Gaon Rabbi Meir Auerbach author of the Imrei Binah - Jerusalem, 1862.  The document is signed by the Geonim:  ~ Rabbi Meir Auerbach of Kalisch and Jerusalem (1815-1878) was the son of Rabbi Yitzhak Isaac Av Beit Din of Luntshitz. Was a Rav in Kalisch, Kvili, and more.Immigrated to Jerusalem in 1859, was appointed to lead the Old Yishuv together with Rabbi Shmuel Salant. Author of the famed Halachic work Imrei Binah and was known after it as the Imrei Binah. Was also known as having vast knowledge of Kabbalah and studied at the Beit El yeshiva of Mekubalim. Publsihed several articles in contemporary journals.  ~ Rabbi Nachum Levi (1810-1866) the son of the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Posner and a disciple of the Gaon author of the Chemdat Shlomo. Served as Av Beit Din of Szadek and was therefore known as Rabbi Nachum Szadeker. Immigrated to Eretz Yisrael and was soon recognized by the sages of Jerusalem as a Gaon and Mekubal.  ~ Rabbi David Tavia of Lomzha (1803-1863) one of the leaders of the Old Yishuv of Jerusalem and the founders of Kollel Polin. The father of the famed Yelin family of Jerusalem.
