”For Two Hundred Years There has not been such an Iluy” Letter Handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Pogromansky and with his 3 Signatures (!) - Extremely Rare! - וואס הערט זיך מיט דארעסטירע און ווילנע - letter with important content - handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Pogromansky - Paris after the Holocaust - signed three times! Rabbeinu sent the letter to his friend, Rabbi Mordechai. In the letter, Rabbeinu tells his friend about his improved health and asks him about the situation in Europe, which had just been released: ”וואס הערט זיך מיט דארעסטירע און ווילנע” (what is happening with the prisoners in Vilna...). He also refers to varied dignitaries including Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak and asks him to encourage him not to take too much upon himself: ער זאל זיך היטען אין געזונט, זאג אים בייא משה רבינו שטייט נבול תבול...” (He should maintain his health, tell him that Moshe Rabbeinu was told Navol Tibol (you shall wither)...).  Extremely rare! The content of this letter was never published! [1] leaf. Approx. 17X17 cm.  Yiddish. Handwritten entirely by him and with his handwritten signature in three places! The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Pogromansky (1903-1050) a great Iluy about whom the Devar Avarahm of Kovno said: ”For two hundred years there has not been such an Iluy...”. Studied under the Mashgi'ach Rabbi Eliyahu Lupian in Kelm who stated that in Heaven he shall be repaid for being his Rav! He was miraculously saved during the Holocaust when a Jew was ordered by his father, in a dream, to locate and save Rabbeinu! After the War, he established a yeshiva for She'erit Hapletah in France. Passed away in Switzerland several years later. Maran the Chazon Ish attended his funeral crying bitterly!. His widow married the Admor of Sassov Rabbi Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Teitelbaum-Mayer.
