Bundle of Manuscripts of Six Lengthy Responses on Matters of the Mikveh by Ashkenazic Sages - One Handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Wolf Hamburger Av Beit Din of Furth - Most of Them Not Published!!! - The Ashkenazic Genizah - bundle of ancient manuscripts by Ashkenazic sages of the 19th century containing six lengthy responses on matters of the Mikveh - one of them handwritten and signed by the famed Gaon Rabbi Binyamin Wolf Hamburg Av Beit Din of Furth - Ashkenaz the 18th century.  ~ Halachic Responsum on מים שאובים ורבו שוטפין - handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Wolf Hamburg Av Beit Din of Furth and author of Shut Simlat Binyamon - 4 pages - possibly incomplete.  ~ Halachic Responsum - about creating a Mikveh by means of a pump - by the Gaon Rabbi Wolf Hamburg Av Beit Din of Furth - 4 pages - handwritten by a disciple, with glosses handwritten by the Av Beit Din of Furth - printed in his book Simlat Binyamin Siman 17 -   ”שאלה מן תלמיד אחד בגליל העליון - אם מותר לעשות מקוה ע”י פומפברינע ששופך מים לתוך הסילון ומסילון יורד למקוה...”.   ~ Lengthy Halachic Responsum - 12 densely handwritten pages!!! - about creating a Mikveh by means of roof drainpipes - by the Gaon Rabbi Wolf Hamburg Av Beit Din of Furth - handwritten by a disciple, with glosses handwritten by the Av Beit Din of Furth - ”בדין מקוה לסתום כל מעיינות הטובים ולתקן דבר חדש במי גשמים ע”י צינור הגגות נראה דבמקום הזה יש לאסור מדינא מטעמים שנתבארו לפנינו...” - not published!!! ~ Copying from the Ramak - about creating a Mikveh by means of hollow pipes - apparently by the Gaon Rabbi Mendel Kargoi the author of Gidulei Tahara - 4 pages - ”דבר ברור הוא וידוע לי ע”פ הנסיון שכל מקוה שאינו מעיין ואו מים מכונסין מאליהן אי אפשר בשום תחבולה שבעולם לתקנן שיהי' כשר בלי שום פקפוק אליבא דכל הדעות וע”ד המקוה בא”ד אבוא בזה...”  - not published! ~ Halachic Responsum - 3 pages -  about creating a Mikveh with a hollow beam connected to the ground - אודות הקורה חלולה מעבר לעבר ושם אותה מחובר לקרקע או תחת הקרקע וצד אחד של הקנה חלול הנ”ל נתונה לתוך המעיין... - not published! ~ Lengthy Responsum - 4 large pages - about a Mikveh covered with planks - ”היא עשויה בחפירה עוקה ריקנית בקרקע ורצפתה למטה מאבנים והצדדין החפירה בור הקרקע מצופין בנסרין... ודפנות הנסרין מדובקין וחשוקין...” - not published! Sizes vary - good conditions.  The famed Gaon Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Wolf Hamburg Av Beit Din of Furth (1770-1850) author of Sefer Sha'ar Zkeinim and Shut Simlat Binyamin. One of the leading contemporary rabbis of Ashkenaz who vigorously fought the REform Jews. Maran the Ketav Sofer wrote of his in his book Derachot Ketav Sofer: ”הגאון הגדול סיני ועוקר הרים... והיה גאון הדור צדיק יסוד עולם, עומד בפרץ נגד המשחיתים, מסר נפשו על התורה, וקיים בכל נפשך ובכל מאודך אפילו נוטל נפשך וממונך...” . Among his disciples were the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Dov Halevi Bamberger author of Shut Yad Halevi.
