Extremely Rare! First Time Auctioned: a Note Handwritten by the Wonder-Worker the Admor Rabbi Shlomke Zvehiler - A small note written in pencil handwritten by the Admor Rabbi Shlomo Goldman of Zvehil, addressed to Otzar Hachessed Keren Shmuel. In it, the Rebbe asks ”נא למסור העשר לירות המשולשים על שמי הח”מ [החתום מטה] לנכדי מרדכי גולדמן [הרה”ק רבי מרדכי מזוועהיל], באתי עה”ח [על החתום] יום ה' תצא תרצ”ג שלמה בהר”מ זלל”ה”. The note was written on paper cut from an invitation of one of the Admor's grandsons.  Enclosed with the note is a receipt of the Chevrat Gemilut Chasadim Otzar Hachessed Keren Shmuel of Jerusalem from Elul 13, 1933 with an appeal to ”להקופה, לשלם להרה”צ ר' שלמה גאלדמאן ע”י נכדו ר' מרדכי, ע”ח הפקדון סך עשר לירות אר”י”. On verso of this leaf, the payment stamp and confirmation handwritten and signed by the Admor Rabbi Mordechai Goldman: ”קבלתי הסך 10 לא”י, מרדכי גולדמן”. Extremely rare! To this day, except for his handwritten signature, leaves handwritten by Rabbeinu have never been auctioned.  [2] leaves. 12X9.5 / 24.5X5 cm.  Rabbi Shlomo Goldman known as Rabbi Shlomkeh Zvehiler (1869-1945) the son of Rabbi Mordechai Goldman, the Admor of Zvehil. Already in his father's lifetime receibed Kvitlach. In 1926, immigrated to Erezt Yisrael with his grandson Rabbi Mordechai (see below). When they disembarked the ship, Rabbi Shlomo told his grandson: ”We are throwing the Admorut into the sea”. He settled in the Old City of Jerusalem and studied at the Chayei Olam Yeshiva. Rabbi Shlomo purchased a plot in the Beit Yisrael neighborhood and built a small apartment on it, designing it and pouring its foundations himself.  He used to take the bus to the Western Wall and sit with all other people there. His house, which was open to anyone in need, was simple and with almost no furniture; moreover, he had no Gabaim of Shamashim. He hid his pedigree from the residents of Jerusalem yet they soon recognized his greatness, calling him fondly 'Reb Shlomke'. Was famed as a wonder-worker and many believed he was a Tzaddik Yesod Olam. In early 1942, when the Nazis approached Eretz Yisrael, he was with the Admor Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Husiatyn at the grave of Or Hachaim praying for the rescue of the Jews of Eretz Yisrael.  The Admor Rabbi Mordechai Goldman of Zvehil (1905-1979) was born in Zvehil to his father Rabbi Gedalya Moshe Goldman. In 1926, immigrated with his grandfather, Rabbi Shlomke, to Eretz Yisrael and was warned by his grandfather not to reveal their identity and origin. In Jerusalem, he studied at the Sefat Emet Yeshiva. Received his rabbinic Semicha from Rabbi Shimshon Aharon Polansky, the Rav of Teplik, and Rabbi Ephraim Sheraga Weingutt and the Beit Din of the Gaon Av Beit Din Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld. For many years studied at the Chayei Olam Kollel, even after becoming Admor. Succeeded his father after his passing. He was a modest and humble leader. His Divrei Torah were published in his book Yekara Demalka.
