Rare! Posek Hador Rabbi Moshe Feinstein - Especially Lengthy Responsum of Seeven Pages! Handwritten and Signed by Him - New York, 1975 - ”שלום וברכה לכתר”ה ולביתו וזרעו יחיו” - especially lengthy letter of seven (!) large pages handwritten and signed by Maran Posek Hador Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, addressed to Rabbi Ephraim Greenblat the author of Teshuvot Revavot Ephraim - New York, Erev Rosh Chodesh Elul 1975.  The Responsum begins with a blessing for receiving his ”precious and important” book: ” והשי”ת יברך אותך לחדש עוד דברים להלכה ולמעשה...” and immediately, Maran Posek Hador, due to his modesty, apologizes for writing a small remark: ”ובדבר הערות הלא ידוע לך טרדותי בעיר ובשנים האחרונות המוכן כמעט גם במעון הקיץ, ובפרט עתה שאני מדפיס שני ספרים כאחד על ב”מ ועל שבת... אך עכ”ז מרוב אהבתי לידידי כתר”ה אכתוב הערה קטנה...”. The leaves contain Responsa on drinking a cup of Sheva Berachot on Se'udah Shlishit, when to do a Siyum to be exempt from a Ta'anit Bechorot that was advanced to Thursday and more. Printed in Igrot Moshe section VI (Orach Chaim 4) Siman 69. At the end, Maran Posek Hador's signature.  [4] leaves. 3 of them written densely on both sides - a total of 7 written pages. Approx. 28X21.5 cm. Fold lines and minor stains.  The addressee, Rabbi Ephraim Greenblat the author of Shut REvavot Ephraim was one of the leading disciples of the Igrot Moshe. The beginning of this letter indicates Rabbeinu's fondness of his disciple:  ”מע”כ ידידי אהובי כש”ת הרה”ג מוהר”ר אפרים גרוניבלאט מחבר ספר חשוב בשם רבבות אפרים... אחדשה”ט באהבה ובכבוד הראוי”. Maran the Posek the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Feinstein (1995-1986) the foremost Posk after the Holocaust. Was the chairman of Mo'etzet Gedolei HaTorah of Agudas Yisroel in the USA, Rosh Metivta of Tiferet Yerushalayim and president of the Union of Rabbis of the USA and Canada. Authored the basic series of books Shut Igrot Moshe as well as Dibrot Moshe on the Shas. His coffin was brought to Israel and buried on Purim. Famed is his response to the claim that he has no ”Da'at Torah”. Rabbeinu, in Igrot Moshe, wrote that he never read a newspaper or book or anything else other than the Torah so how could he have an opinion that was not Torah?!
