Letter with Many Blessings Handwritten and Signed by the Admor Rabbi Hersheleh of Kretshnif - Jerusalem Adar 1977 - Letter on official stationery handwritten and signed by the Admor of Kresthnif-Sighet Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Rosenbaum, from the time he was living in Jerusalem, from Adar 2, Yoma DeHillula of Rabbi Aharon Aryeh of Premishlan. Addressed to the Admor Rabbi Yechiel Leifer of Temshvor whom he describes with superlatives: ”ידידי ש”ב היקר הרב החסיד המפורסם...”. Rabbeinu notes that he received the invitation to the son's wedding and writes rhymed blessings: ”והנני להשתתף בברכתי, ממעמקי הלב פנימה, חמה ונלבבה, שיהא קשר של קיימא, יפה וברה כחמה, להוציא אור תעלומה, בדור ישרים תמימה, ברוב נחת דקדושה, וכי”ר”. וחותם ”ידידו ש”ב המצפה לישועת ד' תמיד...”. At the end of his letter, the Admor notes that he sent ”דו”ד אלפיים ל”י כנהוג”. [1] leaf. Approx. 14.5X24.5 cm. Fold lines and minor stains.  The Admor of Kretshnif Sighet Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Rosenbaum  (1919-2006) was born in Sighet to his father Rabbi Nissan Chaim of Bradshin the son of Rabbi Eliezer Zeev of Kretshnif. Was raised by his grandfather until his Bar Mitzvah and then joined the Stanislav Yeshiva, where he was known by his friends as ”HaOved”.  After the Holocaust, immigrated to Israel and studied in the yeshiva of Rabbi Yosef Zvi Dushinsky in Jerusalem. Married the daughter of his uncle Rabbi Chaim MOrdechai of Nadvorna, the son-in-law of his grandfather Rabbi Eliezer Zeev of Kretshnif. After his marriage, moved to Kfar Ata by the advice of Rabbi Aharon of Belz. Later, moved to Jerusalem and established a Beit Midrash in the town. Was famed for his Avodat Hashem particularly on Sabbath.
