Letter that was not Fully Published in Igrot Kodesh! Many Corrections Handwritten by the Rebbe on a Rare Igeret Kodesh with the Rebbe's Instructions about the Education of Talmidei Hatmimim - Rosh Chodesh Adar 2, 1957 - Typewritten letter on the Rebbe's official aerogram from Rosh Chodesh Adar 2, 1957. The letter indicates the Rebbe's concern for the education of Talmidei Hatmimim and his personal involvement in each and every detail of their spiritual and material education and development. This Igeret Kodesh was only partly published in the Rebbe's Igrot Kodesh (section XIV). Throughout the letter, many corrections handwritten by the Rebbe.  In the letter, the Rebbe describes the education of the Tmimim, writing:  ”ומובן שנכונה במאד מאד בחינת התלמידים, והעיקר הדבור עמהם בפרטיות, אבל כפי הנראה במוחש מביא זה תועלת שלא בערך יותר, באם נוסף על כל הדבורים בועידה באופן רשמי, ישנה ג”כ שיחה באופן בלתי רשמי - מזה הקרוב לתלמיד יותר ואשר לפניו יכול לגלות כל לבו, וק”ל”. On the margins of the letter, the Rebbe adds: ”בודאי למותר להדגיש, שהתועלת העקרית בבחינות הנ”ל - באם אח”כ נוקטים באמצעים מתאימים לתיקון המגרעות אשר נמצאו”. All this was printed in Igrot Kodesh; all the rest was omitted.  The Rebbe refers to the study of Chassidut, writing sharply: ”כן מתקבל הרושם מהדו”ח, שכאילו מסבירים להתלמידים... שלימוד החסידות סתירה או עכ”פ מחליש לימוד הנגלה. ומובן ההיזק שבדבור כזה...”. Later, the Rebbe addresses some material matters about which he was asked, writing a resounding message which should be published: ”תקותי שכל אלו שהם באמת אנ”ש, לא ישתמטו, וחיפשו עצות ככל התלוי בהם. וכל המשתמטים במצב כזה מאחריות מוסד כזה, מסופקני אם מאנ”ש הם, או נמצאים באמצע בין אנ”ש והלעומת, או כו'.” Sharp words!!! (All the bold is not original).  Finally, the Rebbe adds his blessings for Purim, writing: ”וענים נהפוך הרי תוכנו, אשר אפילו ענינים שאינם טוב הנראה והנגלה, מסוגל חדש זה להפוך אותם לשמחה וליום טוב נראים לעיני בשר”. The Rebbe ends with the blessing: ”בברכה לבשו”ט [לבשורות טובות]” and his handwritten signature.  [1] aerogram. Approx. 30X18 cm. Filing holes and fold lines.
