Addiiton of a Word Handwritten by the Rebbe on a Copy of a Letter on Educational Matters - Iyar 1958 - Copy of a letter that was sent by the Rebbe, typewritten, from Iyar 29, 1958.  The Rebbe writes to the addressee in response to his letter about his brother that for several reasons, he should study at the Tomchei Temimim Yehsiva: ”בהנוגע להמשך לימודו לזמן הבא.... וכותב כמה טעמים שטוב לפניו ללמוד דוקא בישיבת תומכי תמימים...”. It is interesting to note that the Rebbe tells him to consult with the staff of the yeshiva, who know his brother and his talents and their judgment, therefore, can be trusted: ”והרי הם בטח מכירים את אחיו וכשרונותיו ועונינים בטובתו האמיתית ולכן יסמוך על מה שיורוהו. בברכה לבשו”ט”. Here, there is an addiiton handwritten by the Rebbe of the word ”בשם” - an instruction to the secretary to sign on behalf of the Admor Shlita. This copy was apparently sent to the management of the yeshiva to see the Admor's instructions.   [1] leaf. Approx. 21.5X14 cm. Filing holes and fold lines.
