Jerusalem, 1904. [6], 5-22 leaves. 13.5 cm. The author Rabbi Sasson Mordechai Shanduch (1747-1830) , the son of Rabbi Mordechai. Was known as the Rasham and as Chacham Sasson Ajami which means Persian - a title he received after healing the son of a Baghdadi minister. Rabbi Sasson was one of the contemporary sages of Iraq, Rav, poet and Mekubal. Authored books on varied subjects including Mussar, Halacha, Drushim and Piyyutim.
