Treasure for Those Studying the Jewish Comunity of Brazil - Lengthy List of 172 Names of Brazillian Jews after the Holocaust - with Notations Handwritten by Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Levin - Lengthy list of donors, Brazillian Jews -five pages with 172 names of donors from São Paulo - including names, addresses and the sum of the donation.  On verso of one of the leaves, many notations handwritten by Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Levin, the son-in-law  of the Admor author of the Imrei Emet.  The list is apparently from 1956. Then, Rabbi Yitzchak Meir travelled to São Paulo to raise funds for Agudat Yisrael. In São Paulo there were many Jews, mainly from She'erit Hapletah, who were supporters of Agudat Yisrael.  A special item for the history of the Jewish community, which was and still is far from other Chareidi centers.  22X32 cm.  Fold lines. Filing holes. Slight wear. Good condition.
