Letter with Interesting Details - Handwritten and Signed by Rabbi Yoel Yehuda Glaser Av Beit Din of Yarmolyntsi - Tel Aviv, 1954 - We were all preoccupied with the Simchah - letter trying to find out details about his relatives - by Rabbi Yoel Yehuda Glaser Av Beit Din of Yarmolyntsi - addressed to his relative Rabbi Shalom - Tel Aviv, 1954.  The letter was written approx. nine years after the Holocaust, a time when every European Jew was looking for relatives... In his letter, Rabbeinu apologizes for the delay in his response due to Smachot in his children's homes: וביום שישי העבר חגגנו פדיון הבן למזל טוב... ולרגל זה היינו כולנו טרודים בשמחה, משמחה לשמחה תהלה לקל...” . Then, Rabbi Glaser discusses distant relatives in the USA: כפי הנראה זאת בתו של דודנו בנימין ז”ל.... דודה בתיה.. היא גם גרה בקליוולאנד? כמה ילדים יש לה? בני כמה הם? הכל להודיעני....”. 13X18 cm.  Stains. Tears. Fair condition.  Rabbi Yoel Yehuda Glaser (d. 1969) Rav of Yarmolyntsi, Odessa and Tel Aviv. A descendant of the Admor Rabbi Moshe of Pshevorsk author of the Or Pnei Moshe. Married the daughter of Rabbi Dov Ber Jack, Moreh_hora'ah in Vizhnitz. His son, Rabbi Yisrael, served as Rav of Ramlah for doznes of years.
