The Last Rav of Frankfurt am Main - Letter with Chidushei Torah - Handwritten and Signed by the Gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kirschbaum Av Beit Din of Frankfurt - Frankfurt am Main, 1931 - Letter with Chidushei Torah - on the Talmudic matter of Kiddushin ”על מנת שאעשה עמך כפועל” - by the Gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kirschbaum, the last Rav of Frankfurt am Main - addressed to Rabbi Eliezer Hacohen Lipniski, Dayan of the town - Frankfurt am Main, 1931.  Postcard with Chidushei Torah, densely written on both its sides.  10X14 cm.  Good condition.  The Gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kirschbaum (1895-1942) was born in Krakow, Poland. Received his Hora'ah Semicha by the Admor the author of the Eglei Tal. Served as Av Beit Din of Frankfurt am Main. Several weeks before the outbreak of WWII, he managed to escape from Germany to Belgium, where he was caught and sent to Auschwitz.
