The content of the letter: recommendation for receiving a scholarship from the Jewish University of London.  9X14 cm.  Good condition.  The Gaon Rabbi Yisrael Brody (1895-1979) the Chief Rabbi of Britain. Before that he served as Rav of the Orthodox community of Melbourne, Australia and a Miliary Rabbi of the British Army during WWI. Was the founder of the congress of Eurpean rabbis and helped Jewish refugees after the Holocaust. Edited the book Etz Chaim by Rabbi Yaakov ben Rabbi Yehuda Chazan published by Mossad HaRav Kook.
