Copy of Rabbi David Weber the Son of the Rav of Ada: Three Sections of the Mahadura Kama of Shut Shoel UMeishiv by Rabbi Yosef Shaul Nathanson - First Edition Lemberg, 1865 - Shut Shoel UMeishiv by Rabbi Yosef Shaul Nathanson Av Beit Din of Lvov and the vicinity. The foundational and famed book by the Gaon which became an inalienable asset of halachic literature. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod 313. [Mahadura Kama]: 1865. Originally: Section I: [2], 120, [2] leaves; section II: [2], 98 leaves; section III: [2], 90 leaves. Incomplete copy. Section I is missing the title page and the 2 following leaves, begins with leaf 2. Section III ends with leaf 84 - the 6 last leaves are missing. Some tears and taping. Stains and other minor blemishes. Good overall condition.  On the title page of section II, a handwritten notation: ”שייך להרב הח' המופ' ירא ושלם וכו' מו”ה דוד וועבר נ”י בהרה”ג אבד”ק אדא ז”ל”. Rabbi David Weber, the eldest son of Rabbi Mordechai Eliezer Weber, the Rav of Ada. By the advice of Maran the Divrei Chaim, he married the daughter of Rabbi Aharon Zelig Lifshitz, the son of the Rav author of the Aryeh Dvei Ilai. In 1875, he immigrated to Jerusalem with his father, where he became famed as a Talmid Chacham and Yereh Shamayim. Was one of the founders of the Chassidic synagogue of Batei Ungarin. Passed away in Nissan 1930.
