Rare Edition of Tikkun Chatzot that had Belonged to Rabbi Mazal Tov Modena, a Leading Contemporary Rav: Tikkun Chatzotfor the Days of Bein Hametzarim by Rabbeinu the Ramak - Mantova, ca. 1720 - Tikkun Chatzot introduced to be said on the days of Bein Hametzarim by theMekubal Rabbi Moshe Zacuto - rare, uncommon edition . Mantova, ca. 1720 (according to the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book). 10 leaves. Wear. Stains. Ancient, original card binding. Good condition.  Appearing on the title page is the handwritten signatureof Rabbi Mazal Tov Modena whom the book had belonged to.  Rabbi Mazal Tov Modena (d. ca. 1730) a famed and revered Italian Rav and Meishiv. The disciple of Rabbi Yishmael Hacohen author of Zera Emet  whom he succeeded as Av Beit Din of Modena. Author of Peirur Lechem on the Shulchan Aruch, Sha'arei Deah on the Shas, Chidushim on the Bible and Drushim on the Torah. A response from him about playing an organ in the synagogue was published.
