Vieder Press, Sighet - 1888.  In Sighet, Romania there were two rivaling communities: the Orthodox community and the Status Quo community. In 1888, the Ohev Mishpat Kuntres was publsihed in Lviv by the Statu Quo community. In response, this book was published, containing letters by rabbis and Admorim supporting the Orthodox community.  The book contains the Kuntresim that were published during the controversy: Ein Mishpat by the Gaon author of Erech Shai; Yashuv Mishpat by Rabbi Moshe Halberstam of Bardejov and more; Emek Hamishpat by Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Friedman. It also contains approbations, responses and supporting letters by leading contemporary rabbis including Rabbi Yechezkel Sheraga of Shinova, Rabbi Yehoshua of Belz, Rabbi Shlomo of Munkatch and more.  This book is mispaginated since it was originally published as single Kuntresim and only later as a complete book. [2], 2-61, [24], 86-89, [18], 108-109, [12], 122-130, [5], 136-157, [2] leaves.  Handwritten additions beneath the rabbis' names indicating the titles of their books.  Healthy, late binding. Stains. Blemishes and taping to the edges of the leaves not affecting the text. Good overall condition.
