Rare Sefer Yesod! Beer Sheva on the Shas by Rabbi Yissachar Ber Eilenburg - First Edition Venice, 1614 - Sefer Beer Sheva ”a work of Tosfaot on all the places in the Gemore with no Tosfot, two wntire Masachtot (Horayot and Tamid) and chapters (first and last chapter of Kritut and Perek Chelek of Sanhedrin) and many Chidushim on MasechetSotah and Masechet Chulin... and since the work includes seven books... the Rav the author titled it Beer Sheva”. First ediiton printed by Giovani Kayun in Venice - 1614. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod 70. Incomplete copy - originally: [18], 121, [1] leaves. In this copy, the title page is missing as well as leaves 73 and 76. Stains and aging blemishes, some of them with fungus. Tears and taping to several leaves, greatly affecting the text. Fair-poor overall condition. Rare Sefer Yesod! The work by the Gaon Rabbi Yissachar Ber Eilenburg, the Rav of Gorizia, Italy and in his old age, of Prague. The book is adorned with many approbations including by the Maharal of Prague and his son-in-law Rabbi Yitzchak Katz, Rabbi Moshe Galanti and more. It is interesting to note that response 63 (on witchery) was omitted, apparently during the printing.
