Important and Especially Large Pewter Seder Plate - ca. 18th Cntury - Hallmarked - Unusually large Seder Plate with nice engravings of the Haggadah's Four Sons in a border; with lions on the sides, flowers above and a geometrical patterns beneath and birds above and between the Sons. Engraved on the edge of the plate are the Simanim of the Seder from Kadesh to Tzafun and then the initials of Barech, Halllel, Nirtza and two additional letters ”לר” whose meaning is unclear - possibly the initials of a name. Hallmarks on verso of the plate. Very good condition. Minor dents. Diameter: 41 cm.
