Haggadah shel Pesach Geulat Hashem by the Mekubal Rabbi Eliyahu Lavi with Halachot by Rabbi Chaim Palachi in His Lifetime and Tefillat Asseret Hamakot by the Rashash - First Edition Livorno, 1864 - Haggadah shel Pesach ”Sefer Geulat Hashem [with the text of the Haggadah] with (abbreviated) Halachot (copied) from Sefer Chaim Larosh by Rabbi Chaim Palachi and Tefillat Asseret Hamakot by the Rashash [Rabbi Shalom Mizrcahin Sharabi]. Work by the Mekubal Rabbi Eliyahu Lavi, one of the rabbis of Libya, and Av Beit Din of Benghazi - a descendant of the Mekubal Rabbi Shimon Lavi. The Press of Rabbi Yisrael Kushta and Co. who bought the press of Moshe Yeshua Tuviana. Livorno - 1864-1865 (on the title page: [1864]; on leaf 7a, a notation by the author indicating the book was printed in 1865). [7], 2-173 leaves. 20 cm. Yaari 907; Otzar Hahaggadot 1222. Fine copy. Old binding with leather spine, apparently original. slightly worn. Some stains. Good overall condition.  Also contains Igeret Rabbeinu Shimon of Ostropoli on Detzach Adash BaAchav. In his introduction to the book, the author recalls the veents of a blood-libel in Benghazi against his son Rabbi David and three of his friends.
