Haggadah shel Pesach with the Hamarbeh Lesaper Elucidation by Rabbi Yedidya Tiah Weill without His Name and with His Approbation(!) - First Edition Karslruhe, 1791 - Haggadah shel Pesach, ”with a new elucidation Hamarbeh Lesaper recounting simple things and sometimes Remazim and Drash... and many matters from compiled Midrashim...”. The Press of Rabbi Pilta ben Moshe Epstein Segal and his brother-in-law Rabbi Hirsch ben Moshe Worms, Karslruhe - 1791. Yaari 238; Otzar Hahaggadot 355. 52 leaves. Stains and moth perforations. Some tears along the edges and some taping. Old binding, apparently original, worn with taping. Good overall condition.  The elucidation of this Haggadah was authored by Rabbi Yedidya Tiah Weil, the Rav of Karlsruhe, the son and successor of Rabbeinu the Korban Netanel and disciple of Rabbeinu Yonasson Eibeschitz. The author omitted his name from the Haggadah; appearing on the title page, however, is his approbation to this work.  The attribution of the work to Rabbi Yedidya appears already in Rabbi Elazar Fleckles' book, Shut Teshuvah MeAhava (Orach Chaim Siman 239). The manuscript with the elucidation is in the Manuscripts Collection of the National Library of Jerusalem, where it was identified with certaintly as Rabbi Yedhidya's. In the introduction, the author implied his name in the rhymes: ”ידיד יהי' המספר / ובהלל ופסח יספר / יזכה לבנין בית הבחירה לכפר”. The Dinim are in Ashkenazic in Tzur letters. Ashkenazic translation in Tzur letters of the Piyyutim Adir Huh, Echad Mi Yodea and Chad Gadya.
