One of the World's First Haggadahs! Haggadah shel Pesach Zevach Pesach by Rabbeinu Don Yitzchak Abarbanel - Second Edition Giustiniani Venice, 1545 - Extremely rare! Zevach Pesach - Haggadah shel Pesach with a commentary by Rabbeinu Don Yitzchak Abarbanel - Marco Antonio Giustiniani Press - Venice - 1545. 67 leaves. One of the first Haggadot ever printed! Yaari 10; Otzar Hahaggadot 13.  The text of the Haggadah was printed in large sqaure fonts; the commentary, in Rashi fonts. The Abarbanel's commentary on the Haggadah is one of the most common commentaries on the Haggadah and had doznes of ediitons as a seperate book or accompanying other commentaries.  The Zevach Pesach commentary is divided into four: ~ A hundred questions raised by the Abarbanel at the beginning of the Haggadah.  ~ The commentary on the Haggadah surrounding its text.  ~ Dinei Leil Haseder as they were observed in Dpain before the Expulsion.  ~ Drush on Mitzvot HaPesach and Leil Haseder.  Owner's signatures on the title page in Oriental script. Glosses including a one lengthy gloss on the leaves of the book.  Extremely rare! A copmlete copy has been auctioned only once!  Fine new leather binding.  Professionally restored moth perforations and wear in all leaves of the book. Good condition.
