Coupon for the Chalukah of Matzahs with the Rare Handwritten Signature of the Admor the Mekubal Rabbi Baruch Shalom Ashlag, the Son and Successor of Baal Hasulam - Jerusalem, 1937 - Coupon for the Chalukah of Matzhas - by the Vaad Haklali - with the handwritten signature of the Admor the Mekubal Rabbi Baruch Shalom Ashlag - Jerusalem, 1937.  The coupon instructs to give Rav Ashlag and his 7 family members 42 uncias of Matzah for Passover. The leaf was signed with pencil by Rabbeinu: ”ברוך אשלג”. 11X15.5 cm.  Bluish paper. Good condition.  The Rabash - the Admor the Mekubal Rabbi Baruch Shalom Ashlag (1907-1992), the eldest son and successor of the Admor Rabbi Yehuda Leib Ashlag, Baal Hasulam. Already in Poland joined his father in his trips to the Admor of Belz and Porisov. After their immigration to Eretz Yisrael, he studied at the Torat Emet Lubavitch Yeshiva. After his wedding, rabbeinu lived for several years in London, where he delieverd lessons, amonbg others, in Rabbi Dessler's yeshiva in Gateshead. Author of Shlavei Hasulam, Dargot Hasulam, Birkat Shalom and Igrot HaRabash.
