Good overall condition.  This book was used by the Rebbe after being borrowed from the secretary of the Rebbe the Rayatz, Rabbi Chaim Liberman. The purchaser will be given a signed confirmation by Rabbi Chaim Liberman's relative indicating this book was given by him to the Rebbe and was used by him. Exciting and extremely rare! Inside the book, on page 89, there is a pencil corrrection handwritten by the Rebbe hismelf, correction of the year of printing of Or HaEmet by the Maggid of Mezeritch and an addiitonal correction of a reference at the end of the book. These indicate that undoubtedly, the Rebbe browsed and studied the book.   Rare! Books that were used by the Rebbe are especially rare since they remained in the Rebbe's library and were not for public use. The exception are books that were borrowed by the Rebbe and after a while, were returned to their owners. These too are few and rarely auctioned. This, therefore, is a one-time opportunity to own a book that was used and studied by the Rebbe.
