חד בדרא! First Edition of Shulchan Aruch HaRav Choshen Mishpat - Kopust 1814 Edition - Rare Variant Auctioned for the First Time Ever! - Dem Alten Rabbines Torah! An item that appears once in a generation if at all!!! Shulchan Aruch HaRav Choshen Mishpat section, with Hilchot Ribit and Hilchot Talmud Torah - by the Admor Hazaken Baal HaTanya - the press of his disciple Rabbi Yisrael Yoffe - Kopust, 1814 - first edition - Stefansky Chassidut 561; Stefansky Yesod 202; Monshine Sifrei Hahalacha shel Admor Hazaken [I].  Shulchan Aruch HaRav – the wondrous and sacred creation of the Admor Hazaken Baal HaTanya, which he wrote by the explicit instruction of his Rav, the Maggid of Mezeritch, who said to him: ” There is no one as understanding and wise as you to delve into the depth of Halacha and perform this sacred task – to bring forth a work that presents the essence and inner reasoning behind the Halachic rulings mentioned throughout the writings of the Rishonim and Acharonim, organizing everything in its proper place, without confusion or mixture, and to clarify the practical Halacha as derived from all the Poskim until the sages of our time ” (from his sons’ foreword to this edition). Indeed, Shulchan Aruch HaRav was quickly accepted throughout the Jewish world as a Halachic Sefer Yesod, upon which the entire congregation of Israel relies for guidance in Jewish law. This book is also distinguished by its clear and elegant language, reminiscent of the Rambam’s style in Mishneh Torah. Anyone who studies Halacha at its source delights in the subtle precision of the Alter Rebbe’s language, where each letter, word, or emphasis resolves difficult questions and uncertainties that challenged even the greatest Halachic authorities. The renowned wonder worker Rabbi Shimon of Zhelichov, The Mashgiach of Lublin, said about Rabbeinu's work that  ” In order to write the Rebbe's reasoning in the Kuntres Acharon, one would need cerebral veins the size of pipes! ”. Over the years, many books have been published to explain every nuance and detail in Rabbeinu's words and new ones continue to be printed regularly, flowing like water covering the sea. This is the Choshen Mishpat section that was published by his disciple the Gaon Chassid Rabbi Yisrael Yoffe in 1814, a year after the passing of the Admor Hazaken in Tevet 1813. The volume contains 13 Simanim of Choshen Mishpat, Hilchot Talmud Torah (which had already been printed separately in the author's lifetime and was now added to the Shulchan Aruch) and Hilchot Ribit of Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah.  Rare variant! There are two variants of the title page of the book. One was printed with Rashi script and the other, with square script. This is the title page with the square script - a variant that was never auctioned! To the best of our knowledge, the variant with the Rashi script was also auctioned only once.   An opportunity to obtain this rare item from the Torah of the Admor the founder of the Chabad Chassidut, an opportunity that may not repeat itself in the near future, certainly not in such good condition! Pedigreed copy! On the flyleaf, a notation indicating the book belongs to Rabbi Nosson Note Rosh Av Beit Din of Chernobyl ”זה השולחן ערוך שייך להרב המופלג והמפורסם וחשוב בכל המון עם כמ”ה נתן נטע ראב”ד מטשרנאבל וסביבותיה”. The Gaon Rabbi Nosson Note served as Av Beit Din of Chernobyl in the period of the Admor Rabbi Mordechai Twersky, the second Admor of Chernobyl. Responses to him appear in Shut Tzemach Tzeddek. (Possibly, this is Rabbi Nosson Note of Avritch, a disciple of the Baal Shem Tov and the in-law of the Admor the author of the Bat Ayin. We would be happy to learn more about the aforementioned Rav from historians).  [1], 94, 20 leaves.  Original leather binding with blemishes to spine. Some moth to the margins. An open tear to the edge of the title page, not affecting the text. Good overall condition.
