Yesod! First Edition of Shut HaRashba (Attributed to the Ramban) - Venice, 1519 - One of the First Books Printed by the Printer Daniel Bomberg - Glosses - Shut by Rabbeinu Moshe bar Nachman - compilation of Responsa by Rabbeinu Shlomo ben Aderet which was attributed by mistake to the Ramban - Daniel Bomberg Press - Venice, 1519 - first edition - Stefansky Yesod 265. Haberman Hamadpis Danuel Bomberg 10.  At first, the book was attributed by mistake to the Ramban, following response 184 in which it says it is the Ramban's response. Actually, it has been proven that the vast majority of the book is by the Rashba, as indicated by Maran the Beit Yosef: ”בא לידי קצת תשובות הרשב”א... וכתוב בתחלתן שהם תשובות הרמב”ן”.  The editor of this edition also suspected that not all the responses were by the Ramban, as he writes on verso of the title page: אכן יש ויש ביניהם אשר זרים עברו בתוכו כהרשב”א וסיעתו וכהנה בהרבה מקומות מאלו הגאונים אשר שתו מימיו.... וכל איש מדע יקבל האמת ממי שאמרו ואם כי אינם מתשובת הרמב”ן...”. Many glosses and references throughout the entire book, apparently in preparation for the printing of a revised edition of the book.  Signature on the last leaf:  ”אהרן יונה”. 94 leaves.  New leather binding with minor scuffs. Much moth damage and tears, professionally restored. Fair-good condition.
