Fine Complete Set in Original Magnificent Leather Bindings: Chamisha Chumshei Torah Tikkun Sofrim - Amsterdam, 1726 Illustrated Title Page for each Section - Rare! Fine complete set of Chamisha Chumshei Torah with an additional section for the Haftarot ”Tikkun Sofrim carefully edited... and to this are added Hagahot Or Torah [by Rabbi Menachem de LOnzano] in Amsterdam by the order of the philanthropists Chazan Shmuel Rodrigez Mendes, Moshe Tzarfati de Gerona, Favid Gomez de Silva”. Printed in Amsterdam in 1726.  Fine complete set with a title page for each of the volumes of the Chamisha Chumshei Torah; the title pages contain a copper-engraved illustration by Bernard Picart. An additional title page in Section I with the heading: ”סדר פרשיות והפטרות כל השנה”. Separate title page for the volume of the Haftarot: ”הפטרות כל השנה כמנהג קהלות הספרדים והאשכנזים” - at the end of the Haftarot section, a table of the Parashiyot of the Moadim in Spanish with a special title page: ”אלה מועדי יהוד מקראי קודש - Calendario, facil y curiozo, de las tablas iunares calculadas con las tablas solares” with 3 folding plates in it. Approbation by Rabbi Shlomo Ayllón and a leaf of ”indices... to know and understand the matter of the Parashiyot Mechubarot and Nifradot on simple and leap years... 1726-1785” were bound in the Haftarot section.  Six volumes in leather-covered wooden bindings with fine decorations and gilt edges. Restorations to the spines and the Haftarot section, a new bindings on which the leather of the original binding is mounted. Stains and minor blemishes. A small tear to the lower corner of the title page of the Haftarot, not affecting the text. Some small tears along the edges of several leaves not affecting the text.
