Maran the Beit Yosef quotes him hundreds of times in his work on Arba Trim; Rabbeinu the Maharshal writes ”מהרי”ק מאריך הרבה, מכל מקום דבריו קשורים כשלשלת של ברזל עד רום שמים לרוב חריפות...” [The Maharik elaborates extensively; nevertheless, his words are linked like an iron chain to the heights of heaven due to their great sharpness...].
