Extremley Rare Edition! Tikkun Haklali by Rabbeinu Nachman of Breslov - Published by the Chassid Rabbi Pinchas Yutkevich Warsaw, 1898 First Time with an Approbation - ”Befitting of its name, Tikkun Haklali, since it is Tikkun Habrit, as elucidated in Likutei Mohran... by the Admor Rabbi Nachman, the Baal Shem Tov's grandson... edited by the Avrech Rabbi Pinchas ben Rabbi Peretz  Yutkevich”. An extremely rare edition of this quality book. Printed in Warsaw - 1898. 32 pp. - except for the front and back cover. Stains. Very good overall condition.  The significance and rarity of this edition Sixth and extremely rare edition of HaTikkun Haklali, by Rabbeinu Nachman of Breslov, with only few known copies. The cover title is even rarer and apparently was not seen by the varied bibliographers, who did not list it, excluding Rabbi Nosson Zvi Konig in his book Neveh Tzaddikim p. 67 letter ו'. Due to its significance, he copied the cover title which included the approbation by the rabbis of the Beit Din Tzeddek of Warsaw - it should be noted that this is the first time an approbation for this work was published. On the back cover, a rhymed poem by the publisher Rabbi Pinchas Yutkevich (see below).  This edition is also significant due to the addition of the passage of Veda Achi in the foreword and the prayer of Yehi Ratzon before Tehillim . A passage was taken from Sefer Shivchei HaRan - Sichot HaRan, Lviv 1864, Siman 141, which following this edition was subsequently printed in all the following editions of the Tikkun Haklali.  ”To purchase this book even if it is expensive” Due to the significance of the approbation, we have copied it here verbatim:  סוד ה' ליראיו ובריתו להודיעם זה שמו תיקון הכלל י נאה לו וכאן יש תיקון למקרה לילה ח”ו שקרה לו, כמבואר מעבר לדף בהקדמה, מ”ש לך נא ראה שמה. ע”כ מודעה רבה לאחב”י מבד”ץ דפה הח”ם המה, לקנות את זה הספר אפילו ביוקר, ולקיים ע”פ הספר הנקרא בשמו היקר, תיקון הכללי וזה העיקר, טעמה כי טוב סחרה, לא יכבה בלילה נרה, רבות בנות עשו חיל, ואת עלית על כלנה, שבזה נקרא איש גבור חיל, מפז ומפנינים יקרה. אחלקם ביעקב ואפיצם בישראל, בשם נ חל נ ובע מ קור ח כמה, נכד הבעש”ט ר' ישראל. התעוררי כי בא אורך קומי אורי, הזורעים בדמעה ברנה יקצרו. נאום מו”ץ ר' שמואל זאנוויל קלעפפיש ונאום מו”ץ ר' יהודה יודל סג”ל ונאום מו”ץ ר' ישראל מרדכי כש”נ בירושלים בשנת וברכתיך לפ”ק The publisher the Chassid Rabbi PInchas Yutkevich We do not know much about him, aside from what remains in a manuscript kept at the Schocken Institute in Jerusalem, under the title Yalkut HaLikutim – Compiled and Edited by Yitzchak Meir Korman. A Breslover! Jerusalem, [1948] - in Tikkun HaKlali, p. 63 [Tikkun HaKlali, 1898 edition], it says: ”I must note and present here a wondrous story about the man who endeavored to publish this book, whose name was Pinchas Yutkevich. This man was from the town of Tshande in Volhynia, near Berditchev, and he became close to Breslov by a distinguished Breslov Chassid in Berdichev, the famed R. Shmerel. This man was extremely poor and downtrodden. R. Shmerel advised him and lent him a sum of ten rubles so that he could publish copies of the Tikkun HaKlali, distributing them across the land. And so he did—he printed ten thousand copies and went from city to city, eventually arriving in the city of Łódź, Poland. From each stage of the journey, he would send money to support his household. In Łódź, he began to engage in the lottery business, known as Loteriah Tsetelach, and from this he became very wealthy, eventually becoming the chief agent of this trade there. He also moved there with his family and had a large office from this business. He would travel from Łódź to Uman every Rosh Hashanah until the day of his passing, and he left a great fortune as an inheritance to his children...” Printed on the last leaf is a poem by him (appearing, as stated, in this copy):  אני הצעיר פינחס בן פרץ אתן אמרי שפר את נגינתי אפצח במרץ כי זכיתי להוציא זה הספר אשר צדיק יסוד עולם השאיר אחריו ברכה לכל באי עולם להצילם מעמק הבכא כבר היה לעולמים כי נדפס בירושלים עיר קדשנו ועתה בדברים נעלמים ואינם לעינינו נחלתי שמרה בנעימים להשיב את חיי נפשנו. ”אחר כך קודם הסתלקותו הקדוש אמר כל מי שיבא על קברי ויתן פרוטה לצדקה ויאמר אלו העשרה קפיטיל תהלים ואמרם איך שיאמרם אשתדל בכל כחי לעשות לו טובה ואמר בזה”ל איך וועל מיך לייגין און דער ליינג און אוכ דער ברייט איך זאהל אים אה טובה טאהן בייא דיא פאות וועל איך אים ארויס ציהען פון דייעם שאול תחתית”.
