Sifra, “known as Torat Cohanim, with a new commentary in clear and concise language compiled from the Ra’avad and the Rosh of Shontz, and the Korban Aharon and other books”, by Rabbeinu Yisrael Meir Hacohen of Radin, the Chafetz Haim. With glosses by HaGra of Vilna elucidated by him. Two sections with a separate title page for each section. First edition with these commentaries. Piotrkow - 1911. [1], 105, 94 leaves. Moth perforations and some moth damage. Stains and other minor blemishes. Good overall condition.  Original binding with the famed jug decoration. New embossed fabric spine. On verso of the binding and the flyleaf, a notation of ”Mugeh” handwritten twice by him! *** 2. In this edition, Hebrew-Teitch (Yiddish) was added throughout the entire work for the benefit of women and common people . Printed in Warsaw, 1897. At its end, Kuntres Tiferet Adam on the prohibition of destroying one's beard and sidelocks by the author. 147, 16 leaves. Moth perforations and some moth damage. Stains and other minor blemishes.
