Rare! Original Broadside from the End of the First and Historial Visit of Rabbeinu Hakadosh of Satmar to Eretz Yisrael in 1932 - יציאת צדיק מן העיר עושה רושם [The Tzaddik leaving the town makes an impression) - original and rare broadside that was published in Jerusalem when Rabbeinu Yoel of Satmar left the town after his visit to it in late 1932, when he was serving as Rav of Kroli (see below and at length in the book Moshi;an shel Yisrael chapter 54). Not in the Ephemera Collection of the National Library of Jerusalem.  The title of the broadside is  ”והיו את המלך בצאתו לשלום” [Be with the King when he leaves in peace]. The broadside then calls the Chareidim of Jerusalem to come and receive a farewell greeting from Rabbeinu Yoel Teitelbaum on Wednesday, Elul 13, at the Rosenberg Hotel: ” מודיעים אנו בזה לכל אנ”ש החרדים בירושלם שיבואו כלם לקבל את ברכת הפרידה מכ”ק אדונינו מורינו ורבנו שר התורה והיראה ציסו”ע [צדיק יסוד עולם] כו' כקש”ת [כבוד קדושת שם תפארתו] מרן רבינו יואל טייטעלבוים שליט”א ביום ד' י”ג אלול לפני הצהרים במלון ראזענבערג ויה”ר שהמלך ביפיו תחזינה עינינו בשובו בקרוב לעטרת ראשנו בחצרות בית ה' בתוככי ירושלם ת”ו ואור חדש על ציון תאיר ונזכה כולנו יחד במהרה לאורו אמן ”. Signed by ”ועד עדת היהדות החרדית בירושלם”  [the committee of Chareidi Jewry of Jerusalem].  The content of the broadside indicates the contemporary dispute about the appointment of a new Gaon Av Beit Din for the Eidah Chareidit of Jerusalem after the passing of the first Gaon Av Beit Din Maran Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld (see below).  Zuckerman Press. Very good overall condition.  Your king comes to you In Adar 2 1932, Maran the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, who was the first Gaon Av Beit Din of HaEidah HaChareidit of Jerusalem, passed away. After the days of mourning, the residents of the town and its leaders wanted to appoint a new Rav for the position. Among others, the name of Rabbeinu Hakadosh Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum, then Rav of Kroli, came up. There were people who objected to this appointment and eventually, the Maharitz Dushinsky was appointed the Gaon Av Beit Din.  In Av of that year, Rabbeinu visited Eretz Yisroel for the first time. Some claimed that his visit was related to his appointment as Gaon Av Beit Din; Rabbeinu, however, stated that his intention was only to visit the Holy Places, following the passing of his daughter the Rebbetzin Rachel, his wife's illness and his youngest daughter, Mrs. Chaya Roisa, having difficulty to bear children.
