Lengthy Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Admor the Pnei Menachem of Ger - Jerusalem, 1973 - Lengthy letter handwritten and signed by the Admor Rabbi Pinchas Menachem Alter of Ger from the time he was the Rosh Yeshiva of Sefat Emet in Jerusalem - Jerusalem, 1973. The letter is addressed to the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Toker and it inidcates his Torah greatness and humility alike. At the beginning of the letter, Rabbeinu apologizes for not having time the previous day since he was in ameeting of rabbis: ” יסלח לי כ”ת [כבוד תורתו] , על שלא הי' לי פנאי אמש, בהיותי באמצע אסיפת רבנים, עברתי קצת על ספריו 'ביכורי ארץ' ג”כ ואני מצרף בזה שיק תמורת הספרים הנ”ל”. Later, Rabbeinu discusses with him Chidushei Torah appearing in his book, adding his comments. official stationery. Approx. 20X21.5 cm. Fold lines and aging stains. Tears not affecting the text. The Admor Rabbi Pinchas Menachem Alter, the Pnei Menachem of Ger (1926-1996). the youngest son of the Admor of Ger, Rabbi Avraham Mordechai Alter (the Imrei Emet). He served as Rosh Yeshiva of the Sefat Emet yeshiva in Jerusalem for many years. In 1992 after his brother (the Lev Simcha) passed away, he became Admor and led the Ger Chassidut for four years, until his passing.
