Historical: Ledger of Vaad Haklali of Jerusalem, with Records of More than a Thousand Donors from All Over the World, especially the USA and London - Jerusalem, 1906 - Historical and fascinating - huge ledger of the incomes of the Vaad Haklali-Knesset Yisrael Jerusalem, including among others the Bikkur Cholim Hospital and the Etz Chaim Talmud Torah and yeshiva. Contains documentation of sums that were sent mainly by mail, where they were sent from and the donors' names from all over the world, especially the USA. From the years 1905-1906. Among others, the following USA cities appear in the ledger: New York, Chicago, Michigan, Ohio, Seattle, St. Louis, Baltimore, Boston and more. From all over the world, there are names of donors from Lithuania, Lithuania, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Britain, Australia, Austria and more. The ledger contains donors' names, more than 2800, on over 180 written leaves. In many cases, the designation of the donation, which was partly sent to individuals who signed a receipt for the money, was listed. The donors' names include those of rabbis of cities and other fames rabbis.
