Handwritten Ledger Copy of the Ledger of Chavura Gemilut Chessed shel Emet of Kollel Kosov, Vizhnitz and Antinia for the Years 1902-1907 - Jerusalem, 1910 - Handwritten ledger of income and expenses, ”copied from the ledger of Chavura Gemilut Chessed shel Emet of Kollel Kosov, Vizhnitz and Antinia, and the copying began on Tuesday Elul 23, 1910...”. The ledger contains a copying of the years 1902-1907 of the income and expenses of the Chevra Kaddisha of the above Kollelim, with names of members and donors and the designation of the donation: tombstones, repairs at the cemetery, payments to the Sha'arei Tzeddek and Bikkur Cholim hospitals and more. In several places, the Gaba'im's signatures (some of them, apparently, a copy of their names only) and original stamps of Beit Din Tzeddek of the Ashkenazic Chassidic community of Jerusalem with an illustration of the Western Wall in its center.  At the end of the ledger, confirmation signed by the Dayanim of the Beit Din: ”אנחנו בד”צ ח”מ ראינו את העתקת החשבון מגוף פנקס הישן מדף לדף ומסאמע לסאמע, הכל מתחלה ועד סוף ונתברר לנו כי הפנקסאות מתאימות בלי שום טעות כלל וע”ד אמו”ץ [אמת וצדק], באעה”ח יום י”ב לחודש אדר תרע”א, פה ירושלם עה”ק תו”ב. נאם הק' מאיר איזראעל, רב”ד פה עה”ק. נאם הק' קלמן חמאדיש, דומ”ץ פה עה”ק. נאם אלי' בן אמ”ו יחיאל יהודה זללה”ה”. Fascinating historical document with many details which, apparently, appear only in this ledger and have never been published. Written during a turbulent period for these Kollelim due to many disputes regarding the question of who will head them.  [114] written pages. Approx. 23 cm. Bound ledger. Stains and minor blemishes.
