Book by the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Palachi - Copy of the Gaon Author of the Sdei Chemed: Birkat Mo'adecha Lechaim - First Edition Izmir, 1868 - Tovim Hashnayim - first edition of Sefer Birkat Mo'adecha Lechaim -  by the famed Gaon Rabbi Chaim Palachi Av Beit Din on Izmir - the press of Yitzchak Shmuel de Shigora - Izmir, 1868 - the last book published by Rabbeinu in the last year of his life! Pedigreed copy! Appearing on the title page of the book is the stamp of the famed Gaon Rabbi Chaim Chizkiyahu Medini author of the monumental work Sdei Chemed: ”הצ' חיים חזקיהו מדיני המכו' חח”מ הי”ו”. One cannot imagine the Jewish bookshelf without the works of these Geonim Rabbi Chaim Palachi and Rabbi Chaim Chizkiyahu Medini who gave the Torah world such an abundance of foundational works covering all subjects of the Torah. This is a copy of the first edition of  Birkat Mo'adecha Lechaim by Rabbi Chaim Palachi with the stamp of the Gaon author of the Sdei Chemed - Kitvuni Ledorot!!!   In the Sdei Chemed's famed work, Rabbeinu frequently cites this book, Birkat Mo'adecha Lechaim, indicating was in constant use by him and from it, he copied Rabbi Palachi's Chidushim and Piskei Halachot.  Original binding, loose. Moth damage. Fair-good condition.  The Gaon Chacham Chaim Chizkiyahu Medini  (1833-1905), one of the leading Acharonim, the Rav of Hebron. Authored the famed series of books Sdei Chemed 18 section after which he was known as the Sdei Chemed. Author of the books Michtav LeChizkiyahu, Or Li and Paku'ot Hasadeh.
