Handwritten by the Admor the Tzemach Tzeddek! Halachic Responsum that was not Published about Leasing an Estate in Lubavitch - Folded sheet with 4 pages, two and a half of them containing a responsum on ”leasing an estate here in Lubavitch...”, apparently, handwritten by the Admor the Tzemach Tzeddek. At the end of Rabbeinu's responsum, there are additions in a diffeent script.  Background: In days gone by, the noble landlords would conduct a kind of tender for the estates and agricultural lands they owned, for mines, flour mills, inns, breweries, as well as special economic rights for collecting taxes, and so on. For this purpose, many Takanot were enacted in Jewish communities to prevent trespassing and the like. The Admor  here refers with severity in his response to the potential harm to the poor: ”ותו דא”כ יעשו ב' או ג' העשירים כל העול בעירם כרצונם ואין מונע נגדם, ואין זה דרכי נועם, ומה חטא ופשע העני שנותן מס לפי ערכו , כמו העשיר לפי ערכו, ...”. [And furthermore, if so, two or three rich people will do whatever they wish in their city, and there will be no one to stop them, and this is not a pleasant path, and what sin and crime has the poor person committed who pays tax according to their value, just like the rich person according to their value...] The complete volume from which these leaves were taken belongs to the archival treasures of the renowned Moreh Tzeddek, Rabbi Yissachar Ber HaLevi Horowitz of Lubavitch, a trusted member of the household and confidante of the Tzemach Tzeddek of Lubavitch. The entire Kuntres was previously sold at the Kedem auction house in 2017, auction 53, lot 60. According to their description in the catalog, the description written for the complete volume is only a ”partial description, ” and these leaves were handwritten by the Admor the Tzemach Tzedek. The Chassidic scholar Rabbi Shimon Schwartz Shlita (who saw this entire Kuntres with all its appendices), wrote about these leaves (the confirmation is enclosed): ”כתיבת יד הגה”ק בעמח”ס צמח צדק זצ”ל נבג”מ... והנני מאשרו וחותם שמי...”.
