Angels of Mercy! Selichot, Chabad Version, which was Used by the Mekubal Rabbi Yosef Woltuch - Selichot, Chabad version - third edition with supplements - The Center for Educational Matters - Kfar Chabad, 1955.  The Selichot book that was used by the Mekubal Rabbi Yosef Woltuch for prayer during the days of mercy of Elul and Tishrei.  Appearing on the flyleaf of the book is the handwritten signature of the Mekubal and wonder-worker Rabbi Yosef Woltuch: ב”ה ע”ה יוסף וואלטוך מעיה”ק ירושלים תובב”א וכעת בת”א אוסישקין 12” [Yosef Woltuch from Jerusalem now in Tel Aviv Osishkin 12].  Scattered among the leaves of the book are many leaves with names for prayer handwritten by the Mekubal and letters that were sent to him with requests that he pray for health and success. In one o fthe notes, Rabbeinu refers to the Yahrzeit day of his friend, the Mekubal Rabbi Yehuda Patilon on Cheshvan 14, 1974. He also refers to Pidyon Nefesh for the Gaon Posek Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Harlap: ”פדיון נפש עבור הר”ר יעקב... בן מרים חרל”פ רב”ד שערי חסד ירושלים (ביום ג' קרח תש”א)”  (a partly torn note). There is a letter by an anonymous man asking that the Mekubal pray for his friend who had a heart attack: ”שתתפלל על חבר טוב שלי שקבל התקפת לב... אני מאמין שבעז”ה תפלתך תתקבל והוא יחלים במהרה...”. Original binding. Moth perforations. Fair-good condition.  The Tzaddik Mekubal Rabbi Yosef Woltuch of Zlotchov .In his youth, he lived in the Old City of Jerusalem and would secretly enter the renowned yeshiva of Mekubalim, Beit El, observing their actions. He slept little, understood and absorbed every matter with astonishing speed, and habitually wrote 'proofread' in every Kabbalah book he finished studying. His custom was to visit the graves of Tzaddikim throughout the country, and he merited wonderful revelations and the manifestation of the souls of the Tzaddikim. However, he was careful not to visit Rashbi's tomb in Meron on Lag BaOmer due to the large crowds. It is recounted that during one of his prayers for the hastening of the Geulah, he merited seeing Rachel Imeinu cloaked in black garments. He met and studied with hiddenTzaddikim, worked wonders, and expelled Dibukim. Despite his great sufferings, he worked Hashem with joy and enthusiasm, and to those seeking his blessing, he would wish ”Kol Hayeshu'ot!” In the month of Iyar 1983, he told a disciple ”This week, God willing, I will rest in Jerusalem, ” and set out with two of his disciples to visit the tombs of the Tzaddikim in the Galilee. When he left Meron, he told his disicples that he wasn't feeling well. After they continued to the Idra Cave, he prayed for a long time and again said he wasn't feeling well, asking for soda water. The three arrived in Safed to buy soda water for him, and as Rabbi Yosef finished blessing the drink, he fainted. He was rushed to the hospital in Safed where he passed away.
