Bibliographically Unknown: Mizrach with a Segulah against a Plague by Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropoli Approbated by Rabbi Yeshaya Zilberstein of Vietzen - Vietzen, 1910 - Mizrach plate - large, printed broadside apparantly for hanging on the wall. ”Shiviti Hashem lenegdi Tamid, Mizrach - wonderful Segulah to be said during a plague by the Gaon Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropoli”. This Segulah, whose first source is Sefer MIfalot Elokim, contains saying the Seder of the 42 journies of Bnei Yisrael in the desert after their Exodux from Egypt. At the end of this prayer, there is a Kabbalistic table and an addition commentary ”by Rabbi Yisrael Baal Shem of Zamosht” - apparently referring to Rabbi Yoel Baal Shem.  A rare broadside that does not appear in bibliographic records and is not in the broadside colelction of the National Library of Jerusalem. We could not find another broadside like this one in the varied records.  On the lower part of the broadside, an approbation by the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Zilberstein Av Beit Din of Vietzen stating that by tradition, this Segulah is by the Gaon Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropoli and is worthy of all the Jewish People to bring blessing into their homes . There is also a date: Vietzen Vayakhek, 1910.  [1] leaf. 42X36 cm. Published by Rabbi Mendel Yakobovich at the Katzburg Press, ”the press of the editorial staff of the Tel Talpiyot” in Vietzen. Fold lines with tears along them. Taping on verso. Minor stains.
