Lengthy Letter with Many Blessings Handwritten and Signed by the Admor the Wonder-Worker Rabbi David Moshe of Kretshnif - Rechovot, 1957 - כל מיני ומילי דמיטב - lengthy letter handwritten and with the full signature of the  Admor the Wonder-Worker Rabbi David Moshe of Kretshnif - Rechovot, 1957 Menachem Av  ”שנת עזרת”ם ”.  Rabbeinu sent his letter to the activist Mr. Yitzchak Raphael informing him that he had received a letter from the Ministry of Religious Affaurs about a loan from the development budget: ”שקיבלתי מכתב ממשרד הדתות בענין ההלואה מתקציב הפיתוח” , asking for his advice what to do ”ובענין המקוה לא קיבלתי עוד שום תשובה”   (see more about this matter, lot 99 of Moreshet Auction 75),   ”ונא להודיעני בענין הצריף כי ימי החורף ממשמשים ובאים וצריך אני לסיעתא דשמיא גדולה שאוכל בעזרתו ית”ש לסדר הכל לפני הגשמים”. At the end of the letter, he blesses him: ”שזכות המצוה הגדולה יגין עליו תמיד שיתברך ממקור הברכות מן השמים עם כל משאלות לבו לטובה אמן”.  On the margins of the letter, Rabbeinu sends his regards to Mr. Yitzchak Rapahel's son - the Gaon Rabbi Shiloh Raphael, who was favored by contemporary Gedolei Yisrael haeded by the Beit Yisrael of Ger. He was also known in the Kretshnif Chatzer having studied at Yeshivat Hadarom for two years.  Official stationery. 13.5X21 cm. Filing perforations. Fold lines. Very good overall condition.  The Admor Rabbi David Moshe Rosenbaum of Kretshnif (1925-1969) was the son and successor of the Admor Rabbi Eliezer Zeev Rosenbaum of Kretshnif and the son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Rosenbaum of Nadvorna. In 1944, when he was sent with his father to Auschwitz, his father appointed him his successor, promising him that he would survive since “the people of Israel need him.” After the war a small number of Chassidim gathered around him in Sighet and appointed him their Admor. He moved to Eretz Yisrael in 1947 and settled in Jerusalem. Upon the advice of the Chazon Ish and the Admor Rabbi Aharon of Belz, he moved to Rechovot to set up a Chareidi community. In 1969 he travelled to visit his ancestors’ graves in Romania, collapsed and passed away. His body was brought back to Israel, and he is buried in the Rechovot cemetery. His sons include the Admor of Kretshnif-Rechovot, the Admor of Kretshnif-Kiryat Gat (who passed away a month ago), and the Admor of Premyslan, the Admor of Bitchkov and more. Among his sons-in-law are the Admor of Sassov, the Admor of Poltishan, and more. The Admor of Kretshnif was known as a wonder-worker , especially in medical matters, which he would ‘clothe’ in natural methods, with prescriptions that would be honored in pharmacies in Reבhovot, eating certain foods, and some that would seem to oppose nature. Rabbi Gershon Eidelstein told the head of the Ponevezh Yeshiva that once when one of his family members needed medicine, the Admor of Kretshnif ordered him to be given a specific medicine and the patient was cured, an endeavor in which the physician failed with their various medicines. The Rav was shocked, and asked the Steipler how a young Rav succeeded, never having studied medicine. The late Steipler replied: ” Zayn Zagan is more than enough medicine” - what he says-blesses, helps more than the medicine he gives”.
