Rare Historical Letter! Igeret Kodesh and an Additional Leaf handwritten and Signed by the Rebbe the Rayatz of Lubavitch in the Lifetime of His Father the Rashab - Lubavitch ca. 1906 - Extremely rare Igeret Kodesh, on the official stationery of the central Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva in Lubavitch, in the lifetime of its founder the Admor the Rashab of Lubavitch. On its lower part, 4 lines handwritten by the then-manager of the yeshiva, the Admor the Rayatz and with his handwritten signature. Enclosed with the letter was a list which was also handwritten entirely by the Rebbe the Rayatz . Fascinating living proof of the Rebbe's personal involvement in the life of the yeshiva. Sent from Lubavitch to Horodishtz in ca. 1907-1907 (according to Rabbi Yehoshua Mondshine, Kerem Chabad III p. 186).  1. Letter addressed to the Mashpi'a of the Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva of Horodishtz. Written at first by the secretary Rabbi Yaakov Kopel Zelikson who signed ” on behalf of the manager Shlita ” - the Admor the Rayatz. Added on the margins of the letter are 4 lines with 50! words handwritten by the Rebbe the Rayatz, indicating his involvement in all aspects, material and spiritual, of the yeshiva life .  The Rebbe writes: ”אלו שאפשר להחזיק אצלו טוב יותר. והעיקר הוא ההשגחה עליהם בכל הפרטים כפי שצויתי בהמכתב ע”י המזכיר, און דאס מיינט מען ניט סתם, נאר טאן מיט זיי' [=והכוונה היא לא סתם, אלא לפעול איתם]. ולהודיע תומ”י [תכף ומיד] בפרטיות הנהגת כל א' וא', ואקוה לה' כי בודאי יעשו כפי שיצטוו, כי לכל עת, ושינוי מקום גורם ג”כ, ולהודיע בכל עת א...”. And his handwritten signature.  2. Enclosed with the letter was a Pitka, handwritten entirely by the Admor the Rayatz, with a list of students that were sent to study in the Horodishtz branch of the yeshiva. This Pitka teaches us about the meals given to some students and were partially or fully funded by the yeshiva.  A rare and special historical chapter handwritten by the Admor the Rayatz of Lubavitch himself.  Th eletter: [1] leaf.
