Fascinating Polemic Letter by the Dayan and Moreh Tzeddek of Munkatch the Gaon Rabbi Menachem Weiss On Behalf of the Admor the Darlei Teshuva - Munkatch, 1912 - Historical letter, fascinating and polemic written on the official stationery of the Admor the author of the Darlei Teshuva of Munkatch, the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Shapiro, from Friday, Erev Shabbat Kodesh Beha'alotcha, 1912, sent from Munkatch to the rabbis, supervisors and managers of Kollel Munkatch in Eretz Yisrael. II. The Kollel's president abroad suggest electing ” three supervisors and two consultants ... who, in our opinion, will restore the Kollel to its former glory... ”. He suggest electing the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Frankel, Dayan in Eretz Yisrael, Rabbi Baruch Feldbrand and Rabbi Benzion Shapiro as supervisors and Rabbi Avraham Eliezer Homel and Rabbi Yehuda Zvi Adler as consultants, ” who are the people who our donors abroad hope will restore the Kollel to its former glory ”. III. Informs about the Chalukah of the Yuks ”which is delayed due to an unknown reason...”, and will be increased ”to 20k [kg.] per person, in addition to the advance each household will recieve...”.
