The item was delivered to us by one of his grandsons with confirmation signed by him containing the name of the recipient, his grandfather the Rav. On the margins of the certificate, the signature of the recipient, the Rav, confirming what was stated.  Minhag Yisrael Torah Huh to give Chanukkah Gelt In 1952, the Rebbe gave out Chanukkah Gelt to the Temimim of the 770 Beit Midrash. First, the Rebbe said a Sichah stating that Rabboteinu Nesi'einu's intention was that the students of Tomchei Temimim be illuminating candles and on the nights of Chanukkah one should be Mosif Veholech in this regard.
