With Additions Handwritten by the Rebbe - Early Letter with Blessings for a New Apartment - Menachem Av 1953 - Letter from the Rebbe's first years of Nesi'ut. Typewritten on the Rebbe's official stationery from Beit Chayeinu 770 Brooklyn New York. From the 7th of Menachem Av 1953. With addiitons and corrections handwritten by him.  In the letter, the Rebbe writes blessings for the move to the new apartment: ”נהניתי להוודע אשר כבר העתיקו דירתם ללוד. ויה”ר מהשי”ת שיהי' משנה מקום משנה מזל לטובה ולברכה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד בשבילו ובשביל כל ב”ב [בני ביתו] שיחיו. ומדתו של הקב”ה מדה כנגד מדה אשר בזכות פעולותיו יגדלו את כל ילידיהם שיחיו לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים מתוך הרחבה אמיתית” [I was pleased to learn that they have already moved your residence to Lod. May it be the will of the Almighty that the change of place bring a change of fortune for the good and for blessing both materially and spiritually for him and for all the members of his household, may they live. And the measure of Hakadosh Baruch Huh is measure for measure: that in the merit of his deeds they will raise all their children, may they live, to Torah, Chpah, and good deeds, in true abundance”]. Where the signature is, the Rebbe corrected and handwrote: ” הצלחה בגו”ר [בגשמיות וברוחניות]”. Approx. 21.5X28 cm.  Stains and fold lines. Good overall condition.
