Not Printed in Igrot Kodesh! Letter of Instrctions on Public Matters Signed by the Secretary - with Accents, Corrections and Additions of Words Handwritten by the Rebbe - Cheshvan 1959 - Typewritten letter on the Rebbe's official aerogram from Cheshvan 17, 1959, to one of the Rebbe's institutions in Israel.  The letter was sent in ”במענה למכתבם מיא' וי”ד מ”ח [מר חשון] ”   [response to their letter from the 11th and 14th of Mar Cheshvan] and includes several public instructions indicating the Rebbe's consideration of the greater good in all such matters.  I. בהנוגע לנסיעת... למדינות אירופא. = הרי כבר כתבתי, שבכגון דא ע ליהם לסדר שלא יבלבלו עניני אנ”ש זה לזה , ובמדינה שיש שם מוסדות אנ”ש להתדבר עם הנהלת המוסדות, ובשאר המדינות, עכ”פ [על כל פנים] לסדר שלא יבואו בבת אחת ממוסדות אנ”ש שונים, וק”ל  II. בהנוגע לניצול ביקור... באנגליא לעניני ישיבת תומכי תמימים, = לכאורה אינו מובן, באם הנ”ל רוצה להתקשר עם הרב (בראדי שי') הראשי דאנגליא [הכוונה לרב ישראל ברודי רבה הראשי של אנגליה] בהיותו שם, מה זה שייכות להכינוס. והרי האפשריות לדבר עם הנ”ל לאחר גמר הכינוס, ואם נצרך גם לאחרי שיסעו משם רוב המתכנסים. מובן שע”פ החשש שלהם צריך שאפילו הסברא שידבר עם הרב הראשי תהי' בסוד גמור עד לאחר הכנוס וכו'. III. במ”ש שלהכנוס הנ”ל אופי מפלגתי, בטח יודיעוני יותר פרטים בזה, ומה טוב בחוזר מהיר דחוף Signed on behalf of the Rebbe by Rabbi Eliyahu Kwint.  It is interesting to note waht was written on the side: ”כבקשתם נשלח המכתב מהיר דחוף”  [ at their request, the letter was urgently sent]. This comment as well as the dates appearing in the letter and its postmarks indicates the Rebbe's speedy response.  Throughout the letter, punctuation marks, corrections and additions of letters all hanwritten by the Rebbe.  Approx. 20.5X18 cm.  Stains and fold lines. Filing perforations, Good overall condition.
