”In the Future the Blind will be Healed” Hayom Yom Booklet in Braille for the Blind - Brooklyn, 1993 - ”Hyom Yom... Lu'ach Or Zaru'a for Chabad Chassidim KIslev 19, 1943. With lessons on the Chok Yomi, Chabadic customs, compilation of Chabadic Pitgamim based on the Sichot and letters by the Admor Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak. Compiled and edited by the Admor Menachem Mendel Shlita Schneerson of Lubavitch.  In 1991 - the Rebbe's 91st birthday, a special editiom of the book was printed in Braille for the blind. The book was divided into for large booklets of approx. 27X28 cm for the comfort of the blind. This is booklet I for the dates Kislev 19 to Adar 30. In Likkutei Sichot, there is a Sichah by the Rebbe from Shabbat Parshat Ekev, 1991, during which the Rebbe praises the dissemination of the ”Mayanot” in Braille: ”An idea came to my mind: there is a whole category of written letters to which the wellsprings of the teachings of Chassidut have not yet reached (according to the information that has arrived here): For people, God forbid, who are unable to see (being 'Sagi Nahor'), a special script was invented, called (in the language of the country) 'Braille, ' in which the letters are raised... And it is understood that this is a complete status of 'outside, ' and even more so - an 'outside' beyond which there is no 'outside'... And now a new thing has been added: recently, the book of Tanya was printed in Braille - and through this, a new development has been brought about in the dissemination of the wellsprings, that it has also reached a new category of 'outside' (for 'the blind')! ... And especially since this book of Tanya has already arrived at this house, the synagogue, the Beit Midrash, and the house of good deeds that is within the four cubits of the Admor, my father-in-law, the Rebbe, the leader of our generation... the source for the dissemination of the wellsprings to the outside to all corners of the earth... It is now a clear thing (after they have already accomplished this matter of disseminating the wellsprings to the outside) that immediately and truly, the true and complete redemption must already come through our righteous Moshiach! And then there will also be the completeness of the healing of all Bnei Yisroel, including these Jews - as our Sages said, 'In the future, the blind will be healed, as it is said, ”Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened” ... And to point out, that then (at the time of the redemption) they will not even need written letters -because all of Bnei Yisroel will hear Torah from the very essence and being, as it is written, 'Torah Chadasha MeIti Tetze...”.
