Rare! $10 Bill Given Directly by the Rebbe for Tiferet Zekenim Levi Yitzchak - $10 bill given directly by the Rebbe. Good condition.  A notation on the biil: ”10 דולר שקבלתי מהרבי כח תשרי תשמ”ט עבור תפארת זקנים לוי יצחק שהתחלתי” [$10 I received from the Rebbe Tishrei 28, 1988 for Tiferet  Zekenim Levi Yitzchak which I began].  The buyer shall be given confirmation by the Auction House. Tiferet Zekenim Levi Yitzchak is a network of Kollelim commemorating Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, the Rebbe's father. The network was established in 1980. The suggestion to establish the Kollelim was made by the Rebbe in the Hitva'adut of Kad Menachem Av 1980: ”לאלה שיתנו את השם ”תפארת זקנים” (בלבד) תהיה השתתפות בסכום של ח”י שקלים (וזאת בהתחשב בכך שזהו הסכום הפחות ביותר המוטל לדעתי על כל משתתף לתת), ולאלה שיוסיפו גם את השם ”לוי יצחק” - הרי מוטל עלי בפרט חיוב (וזכות) מיוחד בזה - תינתן, איפוא, השתתפות מקופה מיוחדת - בסך מאה שקלים” [Those who give only the name Tiferet Zekenim will receive a participation amount of 18 shekels (considering that this is, in my opinion, the minimum amount that each participant is obligated to give). But for those who also add the name Levi Yitzchak - since I have a particular obligation (and privilege) in this matter  - participation will be granted from a special fund, in the amount of 100 shekels]. The Rebbe added that participation amounts will be given from the Levi Yitzchak, which he had founded in 1964, to all the Kollelim that will be established.
