Good condition.  The Gaon Rabbi Shlomo ben Eliyahu Nissim of Mantova (1781-1864) Rav of varied Italian communities. A disciple of the Gaon Rabbi Menachem Azarya Castelnovo, author of Misgeret Hashulchan. Was famed for his struggle against the attempt to cancel Yom Tov Sheini shel Galuyot and his struggle against the book by Shmuel David Luzzatto, Haviku'ach.
