Was a leading contemporary Posek. In this booklet, he attacks the intention of Reform Jews to cacel Yom Tov Sheini shel Galuyot: ”As one uneducated person from Brilan broke forth... to induce the people of Israel to desecrate Yom Tov Sheini shel Galuyot, and there is no voice and no wrongdoing... but one should not respond to such things with an Israelite heretic, all the more so since he is even more of a transgressor... let him die his own death, and my hand shall not be on him. And behold, truly the sin of that nobleman is very great... and how can a blind man from Brilan, who has never seen the light of the Torah, come and say to his people, 'I am the one who sees'?” Extremely rare!
