First Time Auctioned - Sefer Shenot Eliyahu - Seder Takanat Chevrat Sukkat Shalem - Founded by the Gaon Wonder-Worker Rabbi Eliyahu Guttmacher of Greiditz - Prssburg, 1879 - Sefer Shenot Eliyahu - ” the foundations of the Sukkat Shalem Society and the Maor Yaakov Society of Jerusalem” - founded by the Admor the Chassid Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Guttmacher - the Press of Reb David Levi and Avraham Alkalai - Pressburg, 1879 - Yiddish Rabbeinu Eliyahu founded the Yishuv Eretz Yisrael Society and at the same time, bought a yard in Jerusalem with the help of the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Mordechai Hirschenson who is mentioned on the title page of the Kuntres. On the yard he had bought, he established a Beit Midrash named Shenot Eliyahu and beside it, the Sukkat Shalom and Meor Yaakov Society, which he maintained until his last day.
