My Heart Breaks due to Worse Things - Polemic Letter pertaingin to the Dispute about the Rabbinate of Santiago (Chile) - Signed by the Av Beit Din Rabbi David Greenwald - Santiago - Polemic - fascinating and lengthy letter of two pages signed by the Gaon Rabbi David Greenwald Av Beit Din of Santiago - addressed to the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Halevi Herzog, the Chief Rabbi fo Israel - Santiago (Chile), 1952.  In his letter, Rabbi Greenwald describes the persecutions he has experinced by landlords in his town and varied steps taken to challenge his Rabbinate. He asks Rav Herzog to permit him to appeal to the courts since the landlords refuse to come to a Din Torah.  Autographs by the Av Beit Din of Santiago, due to its distance, are extremely rare!
