Rabbi Shmuel Vital the son of the Divine Mekubal Rabbi Chaim Vital who received from his Rav the Ari who received from the mouth of Eliyahu [Hanavi]|. First edition - Munkatch, 1901. [4], 280 leaves. Leaf 276 with part of the table of errors is missing. Includes the rare leaves with the list of subscribers. original binding. Minor restorations to the first leaves. Stains and reasonable marks of usage. Some moth perforations. Other minor blemishes. Good overall condition - rare for such a Siddur.  Its source This important Siddur of Kavanot was published ”from a manuscript that was owned by the Admor of Shinov and previously by the Gaon the Chida”. The Siddur was published by the Admor Rabbi Chaim Elazar Shapiro of Munkatch, in his father's lifetime. In his foreword to the Siddur, Rabbeinu notes that his father, the Admor the Darkei Teshuvah, spoke with the Rav of Shinova about the necessity of publishing this book. The Admor of Shinova agreed to give it to him to be copied and printed.  Segulah Siddur In his approbation by the Admor the author of the Imrei Yosef of Spinka writes: ואף מי שאין לו עסק בנסתרות עצתי אמונה שיקנה את הסידור הלז להיות לו לשמירה מעולה בביתו מכל נגע ומחלה ושפע ברכה והצלחה בני חיי ומזוני רויחא כנפשם...”  [...my advice is that he purchase this Siddur for excellent protection in his home against any sickness and an abundance of blessing and success...].
